Other Types Of Treatments

Myofacial Release

Myofacial release is a treatment to address the facia. The facia is a tough connective tissue, which spreads throughout the body in a multidimensional web extending from head to toe without interruption. Trauma, inflammation or poor postural conditions can create the facia to pull, resulting in excessive pressure on nerves, muscles, blood vessels, bone structures and organs. A large population of people suffering from pain or range of motion difficulties may have facial strain.

Kinesiology

In Kinesiology, muscle testing is one of the major components in finding the root of your condition. The muscles hold up the skeleton, therefore many structural problems are caused when muscles weaken and are not able to support your body frame or when they move in the opposite direction resulting in pain. When brought back to balance, these muscles will alleviate stress and reduce this discomfort. A strain counter strain technique helps with this process.

Somato Emotional Release

Cells along with tissue such as muscles, connective tissue, bones and organs can store memories related to your experiences. This is partly why we can remember how past experiences felt. SER involves tissue memory. This type of "memory" can prevent your body from functioning at an optimal level and/or can aggravate and amplify your pre-existing conditions. Releasing the experience from your body helps assists in the healing process.

Using craniosacral therapy and somato emotional release (SER) can help resolve trauma-induced problems that are difficult to manage using standard conventions. The process can be tailored to fit your needs and adapted to your specific requirements for sensitivity, comfort and pace.
